Terms of Service
The rules for using Cool AI Photos, in plain language.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Cool AI Photos ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. Who can use the App
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cool AI Photos. If you're under the age required by your country to consent to data processing on your own, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
3. What the App does
Cool AI Photos lets you transform a photo you choose into a new image using pre-defined AI style templates. You pick a template; we don't expose any AI settings, prompts, or parameters — that's by design.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it solely to generate your requested result, for the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your photos or your generated results, and we don't use them to train AI models.
You're responsible for having the right to upload any photo you submit — for example, don't upload a photo of someone else without their permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Upload illegal content, or content depicting minors in any inappropriate context
- Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's rights
- Attempt to generate sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful imagery
- Impersonate someone else without their consent, or use the App to harass, defame, or deceive
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying AI templates or prompts
- Abuse free-trial credits (for example, via repeated reinstalls) or otherwise circumvent our usage limits
We use automated content moderation and may reject, cancel, or refund a transformation request that violates these rules. Repeated violations may result in your account being suspended or terminated.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Cool AI Photos offers optional subscriptions and a one-time credit pack, sold through Google Play Billing or Apple's In-App Purchase system:
- Weekly and Annual subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You'll be charged at the start of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
- Where a free trial is offered, you'll be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Credit packs are one-time, non-renewing purchases.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions directly through your Google Play or App Store account settings — we cannot cancel or refund a purchase on your behalf; refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Prices are shown in the App before you purchase and may vary by region.
7. Free tier
New accounts receive a limited number of free transformations. This number may change over time and isn't a guaranteed or contractual entitlement.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Cool AI Photos available and responsive, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. AI generation depends on third-party providers and can occasionally fail — if a transformation fails on our end, the credit it used is automatically refunded to your account.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, and our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (for example, liability for fraud).
10. Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time — see Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you in the App.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This doesn't remove any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
